| Procedure: | Bring the sample to the standard temperature (20-25°C) Wash the glass electrode in water and dry it with paper. Place the electrode in the sample and measure the pH value. Remove the electrode, wash it thoroughly with water and place it in the preservative solution. |

| Instruments: | Glass electrode pH meter. Set of standard buffer solutions of known pH. Thermometer |
| Recordings: | The pH test result shall be reported together with sample identifying data. |
