SOLACRIL 55 MED p.s.a. is an acrylic solution polymer and a self-crosslinking acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive, having a very light colour, very good tack and good cohesion. It keeps very good adhesion and colour stability in time.
SOLACRIL 55 MED is suitable for application on plastics: acetate, PET, PP, PE, etc., and on several substrates like paper, polyurethane foams, fabrics, non-woven, etc. Being not irritating/allergenic for skin, it can be used for medical applications like plasters.
It is soluble in ketones, esters, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons.

SOLACRIL 55 MED contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and wear necessary protective equipment and clothing. It can be coated using usual coating systems: knife, knife-over-roll, etc. Diluted, can be applied using Meyer bar, reverse roll, rotogravure.
SOLACRIL 55 MED is supplied in non returnable 200 l metal drums.
Keep material in tightly covered container. Maintain full container to prevent loss of solvent. Store in a cool place, preferably below 40°C.
If stored under these conditions, shelf life is 3 months.
