Description
TACKWHITE AP 50 is an APEO free waterbased acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.
It has good ageing and light resistance.
Application
TACKWHITE AP 50 is suitable for the production of PE protective tapes. It is recommended to cure the product with polyurea (e.g. Curing Agent WS 5, 1.5- 2%), polyaziridine (e.g. Curing Agent X7, 0.2-1%) or isocyanate (e.g. Curing Agent W 3 Dil., 0.5-1 %). The selection and the quantity of the crosslinker depend on the final desired characteristics, we recommend to run preliminary lab tests to select the proper amount of crosslinker.
TACKWHITE AP 50 is also suitable for the production of low peel removable tapes. It can also be used to modify the characteristics of other acrylic adhesives.

Handling
The product can be coated with traditional coating systems: Mayer bar, reverse roll. It can be thickened with standard acrylic thickeners or diluted with water.
Add the crosslinker under stirring and continue till complete homogeneity. If a polyaziridine is used, we recommend to check pH and, if necessary, add ammonia till pH = 9. After the addition of the crosslinker, pot-life is reduced.
Packaging
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Storing
Store the product at temperatures between +5 and +40°C. Protect from freeze.
Keep containers well sealed to prevent skin forming.
