TACKWHITE AP 26 is an acrylic water-borne pressure sensitive adhesive.
Due to its composition, it shows a very high cohesion, excellent wetting properties on different surfaces, an extreme transparency and an excellent water resistance, after curing.
TACKWHITE AP 26 has been designed for the production of protective PE films. By adjusting the quantity of curing agent, it is possible to obtain products both for smooth and rough surfaces. The level of curing agent depends on the application of the final product: a higher amount of curing agent will allow to obtain a protective film for very smooth surfaces. TACKWHITE AP 26 is compatible with the traditional curing agents used for this kind of application, as isocyanates (Curing Agent W3 or Curing Agent W3 Dil) or polyaziridines (Curing Agent X7 or PZ-28).
The product can be coated with traditional coating systems, as Mayer bar, rotogravure, ...

If necessary, dilute the product with water and, if the selected curing agent is a polyaziridine, add ammonia till ph=9.
The curing agent must be added while stirring.
After addition of the curing agent, pot-life decreases, depending upon temperature and pH.
The product is supplied in plastic drums (125 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
TACKWHITE AP 26 must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. Protect from freezing.
Keep containers well closed, so to avoid surface skin formation.
