Description
PRIMER EPA W5 is a water borne emulsion of synthetic polymers, which produces a good adherence of acrylic water based adhesives to polyolefinic films.
Application
PRIMER EPA W5 can be used as primer for corona treated PP and PE films. It avoids adhesive transfer after printing on tapes.

Handling
The PRIMER EPA W5 can be diluted with water and, eventually (it depends on the application method), thickened with poliacrylic thickeners and ammonia.
Apply approx. 1 ÷ 1.5 g dry/sqm on corona treated films; traditional coating methods are suggested: Mayer-bar, rotogravure, air knife,...
Packing
PRIMER EPA W5 is supplied in 155 Kg drums or 1000 l tanks.
Storing
PRIMER EPA W5 has no problem of pot-life, but it is suggested to keep the containers well closed and protected from heat and direct sunlight.
Product must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
Shelf life is 3 months.

Stir well PRIMER EPA W5 before use.
