RELEASE W 40 is a water-based release agent based on acrylic polymers added with special releasing agents.
RELEASE W 40 is suggested for hot-melt and solvent based adhesives.
The product has been designed as a release agent for porous substrates, like Kraft paper, and it gives excellent release and unwinding properties.

The quantity to apply depends on the substrate porosity, but it is from 1 to 3 g dry/sqm.
Methods: Mayer bar, Reverse Roll, Roto gravure, Air knife.
It can be either thickened (acrylic thickeners) or diluted (water).
It is advised to heat the product for a few seconds at 150°C in order to achieve the highest properties of releasing (there is a process of self-curing)
Ageing properties are excellent.
RELEASE W 40 is supplied in 200 l plastic drums or 1000 l tanks.
Keep material at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, avoid direct sunlight/freezing.
When stored for over one month, it is necessary to stir slowly the product for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
Shelf life is 3 months.
