CURING AGENT W is a solvent free, liquid polyisocyanate, emulsifiable in water. Dispersion polymers can be efficiently cross-linked with this product.
Appearence: yellowish liquid
Solid content (%): 100
An increased resistance against heat, water, plasticizers and many organic solvents can be achieved with addition of 0,3 - 1% of CURING AGENT W to water compounds. This is very useful for many applications, like industrial coatings, adhesives, textile and leather finishing, etc.

CURING AGENT W must be added just before final application. Pot life of compound is 6 hours after addition.
Polyisocyanates react with water, including atmospheric moisture, with formation of carbon dioxide, which can cause too high pressures in closed containers, and form solid insoluble polyureas, which can block pipes, valves, etc. CURING AGENT W must be stored in well closed original plastic drums or aluminum/glass bottles, at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. At higher temperatures it can develop hazardous vapors. Opened drums must be protected from moisture penetration ( use silica gel drying tube or nitrogen atmosphere systems). In original drums shelf life is at least 6 months with a slight increase of viscosity.
