Description

PRIMER EPX-2 DRY is a dry blend of special resins, containing active ingredients that highly increase the adherence of PRINTING INKS (polyamidic and nitro-cellulosic) to polyolefin substrates and filmogenic ingredients that permit to obtain an even coating.
It is an ambered dry blend composed of different ingredients, perfectly soluble in toluene/cyclohexane.

Application

Primer for printing inks and lacquers, for PP, PE, PET films.
PRIMER EPX-2 DRY must be dissolved at 4% into a blend of cyclohexane and toluene (60:40).
Solution is initially made by pre-solubilizing the dry matter in a small amount of toluene (approx. 20% solids), by fast stirring in a suitable mixer for 3-4 hours till complete solution.
All remaining solvents will be added afterwards, with some extra stirring for homogenisation of solution.
