Description
VINILSOL DRY is a dry-blend compound, designed to produce a solvent based primer for PVC pressure sensitive tapes.
It contains powdered rubbers and resins in an optimal ratio, to produce a very good adhesion to the PVC film (rigid/plasticized) and to the rubber based adhesives.
Application
Coat with approx. 3 - 4 g/sqm of this solution, by Meyer-bar or reverse roll or rotogravure.

Handling
Dissolve VINILSOL DRY by slow stirring with a blend of MEK/Toluene 20 : 80, making a 10% solution.
It is also possible to use 100% toluene, but solution will result more difficult and never perfect. Add to 100 parts of this solution 1 to 1,5 pp of isocyanate, like CURING AGENT RF/AE or CURING AGENT D (Ichemco). Pot-life will be of 24 hours after this addition.
Packing
VINILSOL DRY is supplied in 50 kg fibre board drums.
Storing
Base products are completely non-toxic, but usual care for handling solvents must be used during and after solution, to prevent fire risks.
