VINILSOL DRY is a dry-blend compound, designed to produce a solvent based primer for PVC pressure sensitive tapes.
It contains powdered rubbers and resins in an optimal ratio, to produce a very good adhesion between PVC film (rigid/plasticized) and rubber based adhesives.

Dissolve VINILSOL DRY by slow stirring with a blend of MEK/Toluene 20 : 80, making a 10% solution. It is also possible to use only toluene, but the solution process will take more time. Coat 3 - 4 g/sqm of this solution, by Mayer-bar or reverse roll or rotogravure. Before coating, a crosslinker must be added to the product: add 1 to 1,5 parts of isocyanate to 100 parts of the solution, suggested crosslinkers are CURING AGENT RF/AEDE or CURING AGENT D. Pot-life will be reduced, as crosslinking mechanism starts immediately after the addition of isocyanate.
It is important to note that, being VINILSOL DRY a heterogeneous product, the content of one single bag should be completely used up, without splitting its content into different batches.
The product is packed in fibre drums, containing 5 kg PE bags.
Store in closed containers, protected from direct sunlight.
Use within 24 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
