RELEASE W 20 is a water emulsion of special acrylic polymers, modified with fatty acids and other additives. They can be applied on all porous substrates.
RELEASE W 20 is suggested for hot-melt and solvent based adhesives. For water based adhesives, RELEASE W20 HY must be used.
Product can be applied by Meyer-bar, knife-coating, reverse-roll, etc., eventually adjusting the quantity applied, either by simple dilution with water or thickening with polyacrilic thickeners.

Quantity depends very much on type of substrates and vary from 1 to 3 g dry/sqm. In general, 1,5 g dry/sqm is considered optimal.
After drying, product must cure, by self-curing mechanism, for about 30 seconds at 150°C.
RELEASE W 20 is supplied in 200 l plastic drums or 1000 l tanks.
Despite a very good freeze thaw stability, it is advised to protect from low temperatures (below 0°C). It is suggested to stir before use.
RELEASE W 20 does not present any unusual health or safety hazard. Like most polymer emulsions, it may be a slight skin and eye irritant on prolonged or repeat contact, and its handling and use require the usual precautions related to these emulsions, such as adequate ventilation when the material is heat cured or dried and good industrial hygiene practice.
