Description
PRIMER MT2 is a primer for impregnated kraft paper for masking tape . It is based on a synergic blend of natural/synthetic latices, modified with stabilizers, resins and additives.
Application
PRIMER MT2 achieves a very good adhesion between the impregnated paper and the adhesive mass, either solvent or hot-melt based (natural and SIS rubber). It is recommended for the coating of hot-melt adhesives or aliphatic solvent borne adhesives.

Handling
Dilution: it depends upon the coating system, the product can be diluted with water, when a lower viscosity is required. If required it can be thickened with acrylic thickeners; the product is also available at higher viscosity.
Coating weight: 2,0 -3,0 g/sqm dry.
Packaging
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Storing
Product must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. Avoid freezing temperatures.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
