RELEASE PP 25 W 1 is a special water based release coating developed for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive tapes to provide controlled release effect.
Application
RELEASE PP 25 W 1 adheres well to polyester and treated polyolefins. It provides excellent release on coextruded films or hot-melt coated polyolefines/PET.

Handling
RELEASE PP 25 W 1 can be used by simple dilution with deionized water to a total solids concentration of 1 - 1,5%, applying by Meyer Bar or Gravure rolls 4 - 5 g/sqm on corona treated OPP films (approx. 35 dyne/cm).
Release action is developed by evaporation of the water at 80 - 100°C, depending upon web speed and oven efficiency. No curing mechanism is involved.
This product may also be used to modify waterborne ink having good gloss, release power and a low coefficient of friction.
It is suggested to stir before use.
Packaging
The product is supplied in plastic drums (50 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Storing
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
