Thickener NL is a water based vinylpyrrolidone copolymer.
Application
THICKENER NL is a thickening agent for acrylic polymers, SBR and natural latex dispersions. It can be used as a stabilizing colloid for the incorporation of resin solutions into polymer dispersions.
Contrary to other thickening agents that are mostly effective in the alkaline range, Thickener NL develops the best thickening performance at pH values around 5.

Handling
The product can be directly added, under stirring, to the water dispersion. The quantity depends upon the target viscosity; suggested levels: 0,5-4%.
Packaging
The product is supplied in plastic drums (120 kg).
Storing
Provided that it is stored in tightly sealed containers and kept in a cool place. Long periods of storage at temperatures above 30°C may cause the product to separate. It may be restored to its original condition by thorough stirring.
Use within 12 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
