PRIMER EPA W8 is a water borne emulsion of synthetic polymers, which enhances the adherence of acrylic water based adhesives to PVC and PET films.
PRIMER EPA W8 can be used as primer on PVC and PET films.

PRIMER EPA W8 can be diluted with water and, even (it depends on the application method), thickened with poliacrylic thickeners and ammonia.
To increase the anchorage it can be cured with polyurea (CURING AGENT WS 5) or isocyanates (CURING AGENT W3). If cured with isocyanates, pot-life is shorter. Suggested amount of crooslinker: 1-2%.
Apply approx. 0.3 ÷ 0.5 g dry/sqm; traditional coating methods are suggested: Mayer-bar, rotogravure, air knife,...
The product is supplied in plastic drums (120 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Keep the containers well closed and protected from heat and direct sunlight.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
Stir well PRIMER EPA W8 before use.
