RELEASE W40 GB1 is a water-based release agent based on acrylic polymers added with special releasing agents.
RELEASE W40 GB1 is suggested for hot-melt and solvent based pressure sensitive adhesives.
The product has been designed as a release agent for porous substrates, like Kraft paper, giving excellent release and unwinding properties.

Coating methods: Mayer bar, Reverse Roll, Roto-gravure, Air knife. The quantity to apply depends on the substrate porosity, normally ranging from 1 to 3 g dry/sqm. The product can be either thickened (acrylic thickeners) or diluted (water).
In order to obtain the highest releasing properties, we recommend to heat the product at 150°C for a few seconds. A self-curing process is triggered after the drying.
Ageing properties of the film are excellent.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1060 kg).
Keep material at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C; avoid direct sunlight/freezing.
The product tends to stratify, so it must be stirred slowly for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
