Description
RELEASE ST6 DRY is a dry blend of synthetic resins, soluble in toluene/isopropyl alcohol.
When applied on the backside of corona treated and untreated polyolephinic films, the product allows to obtain a good printability together with a good releasing effect. Primer is not necessary.
The adhesive tape can be printed directly with polyamidic inks, with a one step process.
Application
Polyolephinic self-adhesive tapes.
Tapes with RELEASE ST6 DRY can be easily printed in one step process, as for PVC tapes. Inks to be used: polyamidic. Heated rolls are not necessary.

Handling
RELEASE ST6 DRY must be dissolved in a mixture of toluene/isopropyl alcohol (70/30).
It is suggested to prepare a concentrated solution (20-30%) by stirring and heating at 40°C, then add solvents to a dilution of approx 10%. Before the application, you bring dilution down to 1,5-2 % (coating concentration). Suggested coating weight: 4-6 g/sqm wet
Stir the product well before use.
Packaging
5-10 kg bag. Each bag must be used completely without splitting its content.
Storing
Shelf life is 12 months at normal temperatures (+10 +40°C).
Use within 24 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
