TACKSOL 10/89 HS is a solvent-borne pressure sensitive adhesive, based on natural rubber and special resins.
TACKSOL 10/89 HS can be applied on any substrate (paper, PET, PP, PE, PVC,...).
If TACKSOL 10/89 HS is applied on PVC, it is necessary to use a suitable primer, whereas it can be applied directly on other substrates.
This product is recommended for the production of protective films and tapes used on rough surfaces.

TACKSOL 10/89 HS can be diluted with aliphatic and aromatic solvents in order to achieve the desired viscosity.
For protective tapes, it is necessary to cure the product with isocyanate (e.g. CURING AGENT D); in this case the pot-life of the adhesive is reduced, as crosslinking starts immediately after the addition of the curing agent. The amount of isocyanate depends on the final requested characteristics. After curing, it develops a very good resistance to ageing and heat.
The product is supplied in iron drums (145 kg).
Use within 12 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
