TACKWHITE AP 15 is an acrylic water-borne pressure sensitive adhesive.
Due to its composition, it shows a very high cohesion and, after curing, excellent wetting properties on different surfaces and an excellent water resistance.
TACKWHITE AP 15 has been designed for the production of protective PE films.

The product is ready to be coated with Mayer bar, gravure or air blade.
It is necessary to crosslink the product with CURING AGENT X7 (0.5-1.5%). We recommend to run preliminary tests to identify the correct amount of crosslinker; this quantity depends upon the desired final characteristcs.
The product can be diluted with water; in this case, check pH before adding the crosslinker. If necessary add ammonia to reach pH=9.
After this operation, add CURING AGENT X7. The crosslinker must be added slowly and under stirring, in order to obtain an optimal dispersion of the crosslinker in the adhesive. The pot-life of the crosslinked adhesive decreases depending upon crosslinker concentration, pH and temperature.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
TACKWHITE AP 15 must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. Protect from frost.
Keep containers well sealed, so to avoid surface skin formation.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
