TACKIFIER 80 is a solvent-free, water borne tackifier dispersion. The resin component is a high grade stabilized rosin ester, designed to provide very good adhesive performance on a wide range of substrates.
TACKIFIER 80 is designed for the production of pressure sensitive adhesive products based on acrylic polymers or carboxylated SBR emulsions, where it enhances adhesive performance on both high and low energy surfaces.

TACKIFIER 80 is compatible at all ratios with latices and other aqueous systems of SBR, NBR, butadiene, isoprene, butyl and neoprene synthetic rubbers; polyacrylic emulsions, EVA copolymers and ethyl-vinyl acetate-acrylate terpolymers.
Stir well before use. Filtration may also be necessary.
Avoid major localized variations in pH, as they can lead to destabilization.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Protect from freezing: Tackifier 80 containing no freeze/thaw stabilizers, coagulates irreversibly upon freezing.
It must be stored at temperature between +5 and +40°C.
To prevent evaporation and subsequent formation of coarse particles, keep containers or drums closed.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
