RELEASE PP 25 is a synthetic polymer in solvent solution.
Product is designed to be used as a very efficient release agent for adhesive tapes based on following films: polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, reinforced PVC, polyester.

RELEASE PP 25 can be used on corona-treated as well as on untreated PP.
In the former case, add minimum 30 parts of toluene per each part of RELEASE PP 25.
In the common case of coating untreated PP, 1 kg of RELEASE PP 25 must be diluted with approx 80 kg of toluene (final TS approx 0.3%).
For R.PVC and PES, intermediate dilutions (1 to 50-60) are used. Quantity to be applied of this solution: 4 g/sqm.
Product is packed in 50 kg metal drums.
RELEASE PP 25, having a high melting point and a high concentration, must be stored at a temperature not below 18°C to prevent from freezing. In case of partial or total solidification, store the product in a heated place and stir it for 2-3 minutes before use. The product will become as fluid as before. Shelf life is 6 months.
In case the final solution is prepared with cold solvent (below 20°C) or/and the RELEASE product itself is cold, it will come out opaque or cloudy. You can revert it to transparency by warming it while gently stirring.
It is advisable to use the product with caution, because of the presence of xylene (avoid inhalation, skin contact and flame presence).
