Description
RESINA R 35 is a cyclized rubber derived from natural rubber. It gives high viscosity solutions.
Application
RESINA R 35 is neutral, non hydrolizable, non toxic. It gives glossy and hard films, with a good resistance to abrasion and chemicals. It is suggested in the formulation of ink for food packaging, of varnishes with high thermal and chemical resistance. Its main characteristics are:
rapid release of solvents,
excellent water and alkali resistance
good resistance to non oxidising acids
very good thermal stability
very good abrasion resistance
high electrical resistance
When formulated with natural rubber and isocyanates, RESINA R 35 is an excellent primer for PP adhesives tapes.

Handling
RESINA R 35 solutions are very clear. It can be applied with Meyer-bar and rotogravure.
RESINA R 35 is completely soluble in: aromatic solvents; chlorinated solvents; aliphatic solvents. It is not soluble in alcohols, MEK.
Its compatibility with a lot of modified phenolic resins and hydrocarbon resins permits easy formulation of paints and printing inks based on RESINA R 35.

Storing
Use within 24 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
