Description
Water-based, bright flexo inks, based on pigments and special synthetic resins.
Application
These inks have been studied for under adhesive printing of PE and PP treated tapes.
Handling
Corona treatment must be not lower than 40 dines/cm.
The product must be cured with XAMA 7 (ICHEMCO), 1 - 2%.
Dilution: add approx. 30% water (10kg of ink + 3kg of water). This proportion depends on material to print, on drying speed you want to obtain and on the characteristics of the printing.
In case of foam, we suggest to add some suitable defoamer by means of a sprayer.
For a faster drying, add a blend of ethyl-alcohol and water.
For a slower drying, add cellosolve.
Packaging
Color Ink PE are supplied in 10 or 20 kg drums (on request bigger drums).
Storing
Pot - Life: 6 months.
After addition of XAMA 7, pot-life is approx. 10 hours.
This product must be stored at temperatures between +10 and +40°C.
PROTECT FROM FREEZING
Notes
Do not let the ink dry on the printing machine! After use, wash all machine parts accurately. Use a solution of water, alcohol and a basic product, like ammonia or an amine (MEA, TEA).
