COLOR INKS PP PAM+ADD are special polyamidic inks, containing a special additive, designed for the printing of PP tapes, based on water borne acrylic adhesives, or printable hot-melt PP tapes or printable solvent borne PP tapes (including low-noise). This special formulation yields a bright and well covering printing, nearly as clear as PAM ink without additive, but with an extraordinary ageing resistance and non-blocking effect.
A) PRINTING OF PP TAPES WITH WATER BORN ACRYLIC ADHESIVES (WITHOUT RELEASE):
1. Corona treatment;
2. Apply COLOR INK PP PAM+ADD. Printing machines: SIAT L 36 C or L 33/200.
B) PRINTING OF EASY PRINTABLE PP TAPES. One step printing (without PRIMER and RELEASE):
1. Warm up the cylinder surface to 45°C (set the inner temperature at about 150°C);
2. Use directly COLOR INKS PAM+ADD. Printing machines like SIAT L 33, L36, L46, L444 or similar ones.

COLOR INKS PAM+ADD. are ready for use and usually don't need further dilution.
A water photopolymer cliché must be used (like type "TORELIEF WF170YSE”, ask us for more info). Our inks, being made by two heterogeneous components (ink + additive) with different density and different melting point, need special care:
- store and use them in a warm place during winter, at temperatures not below 18° C.
- stir well before use.
If storage temperature is below + 18°C, the additive could gel. In this case, warm products up to + 35°C or more (taking into account that the products are flammable) with a warm bath and stir them well.
If working temperature is below + 18°C, inks could gel in the printing machine basin. In this case, add warmer product and stir well.
The product is supplied in iron drums (10 kg).
Store at temperatures between +20°C and +40°C. The product is flammable.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
SUGGESTED SOLVENTS: in order to clean the printing machine, use our DILUENT C PAM, to decrease viscosity in fresh inks use THINNING VARNISH, to restore the evaporated solvents in old inks use our DILUENT C PAM plus THINNING VARNISH (1:1), to speed up their drying use max 5% of our FASTENER C PAM and to retard their drying use max 5% of our RETARDER C PAM.
