PRIMER PU6 is a water borne polyester-based aliphatic polyurethane binder.
Application
PRIMER PU6 is suggested as adhesion promoter and top coat for printing on plastic surfaces.

Handling
PRIMER PU6 can be diluted with water and, if necessary, thickened with THICKENER SL 6103 and ammonia.
To increase the anchorage it can be cured with polyurea (CURING AGENT WS 5) or isocyanates (CURING AGENT W4). If cured with isocyanates, pot-life is shorter. Suggested amount of crosslinker: 1-2%.
Apply approx. 0.3 ÷ 0.5 g dry/sqm; traditional coating methods are suggested: Mayer-bar, rotogravure, air knife,...
Packaging
The product is supplied in plastic drums (120 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Storing
Protect from freezing. PRIMER PU6 must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
