Description
PRIMER EPX-2 B is a solvent solution of various synthetic polymers in toluene/cyclohexane, suitable to produce strong adhesion to PP film, either corona treated or without treatment, so to receive suitable inks.
Application
PRIMER EPX-2 B has been developed for printing all types of PP adhesive tapes, whatever the production system used.
It is also suitable to improve the anchorage of PU coatings to PP films.

Handling
PRIMER EPX-2 B is ready to use with the three steps printing system (primer, inks, release) with SIAT L36 printing machines.
Apply 3-4 g (wet)/sqm with anilox cylinders (110 lines/cm ceramic; 100 lines/cm chrome).
Do not let it dry on the cylinders. After use clean with a cloth and toluene.
The best printing results are obtained using our COLOR INK PP NITRO series, followed by our RELEASE PP 25 DILUITO.
Packaging
The product is supplied in Iron drums (20 kg); iron drums (170 kg).
Storing
Store in closed containers, far from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Use within 12 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
Notes
PRIMER EPX-2 B has the tendency to freezing when stored at temperatures below +18°C: solution will become hazy and some powdery residue will fall to the bottom of container. In such a case, the efficiency will be affected.
Properties can be restored completely by stirring the solution, after heating at temperatures higher than 30 °C, until perfectly clear.
