SOLACRIL 205 is a solvent borne acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive, with a high tack and peel. Cohesion and tack can be adjusted by supplementary addition of crosslinker.
SOLACRIL 205 is recommended for the production of protective and removable films.

As crosslinker a polymeric isocyanate (e.g. CURING AGENT CH) is recommended. Low peel adhesion values can only be achieved by the addition of the crosslinker. Peel adhesion values are inversely proportional to the amount of crosslinker. The concentration depends on the coating weight and on the specific application; it ranges from 0,2 to 1,5%. Reaction starts immediately, so it is recommended to use the product after activation. We suggest to check in advance the curing conditions. Use anhydrous solvents to dilute SOLACRIL 205 to avoid interference with the crosslinker.
The product is supplied in iron drums (180 kg).
Store in a cool place, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources, at temperatures between +5 and +40°C. Keep material in tightly closed containers to prevent loss of solvent.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
