RELEASE G 100 ES is a synthetic polymer with an elevated molecular weight in a 100% solid form. When in solution, it is a very efficient release agent for tapes with a superior resistance to heat and humidity.
Its particular chemical structure guarantees an excellent anchorage to polyolefins and a good NO-NOISE effect. RELEASE
RELEASE G 100 ES can be used on corona treated as well as on untreated films.
Concentrations ranges from 0.5% to 3% solids depending upon film type, coating equipment and desired release effect.
RELEASE G 100 ES is soluble in aromatic (e.g. toluene) and aliphatic solvents. (e.g. heptane/isopropylalchol 3:1 or octane/isopropylalcool 3:1) at temperatures above 35°C during the whole process. In order to achieve a continuos and homogeneous coating it is absolutely necessary that the solution is kept at a temperature above 35°C during the whole process.
Method of analysis | MU | Standard | |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Total Solids | % | > 100 |
5 | Melting Range | °C | 90 - 98 |
Slowly add RELEASE G 100 ES to solvent under continuous stirring. If necessary, heat at 40-50°C.
Extra case while Handling flammable solvents is advisable.
The product is supplied in fibre drums (20 kg).
RELEASE K 100 ES in 100% solid form can be stored safely at almost all temperatures below its melting point. In solution, it must be stored at temperatures not below 25°C to prevent gelification. In case of partial or total solidification, store the product in a heated place and stir it well at a temperature between 35°C to 50°C before using. The product will return as fluid as before.
Do not coat if the solution is not completely clear or if gelification occured.
Use within 24 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
