RELEASE W 45 GB 15 is a water-borne release agent based on acrylic polymers including special releasing agents.
Application
RELEASE W 45 GB 15 is recommended for hot-melt and solvent borne adhesives. The product has been designed as a release agent for porous substrates, like Kraft paper for masking tapes.

Handling
The quantity to apply depends upon the substrate porosity, but it is from 1 to 3 g dry/sqm.
Methods: Mayer bar, Reverse Roll, Roto gravure, Air knife.
It can be either thickened (acrylic thickeners) or diluted (water).
During dryng it is advised to heat the product for a few seconds at 150°C in order to achieve the highest release performance ( a self-curing process takes place)
Ageing properties are excellent.
Packaging
RELEASE W 45 GB 15 is supplied in 200 Kg plastic drums or 1000 Kg tanks.
Storing
Keep material at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, avoid direct sunlight/freezing.
When stored for over one month, it is necessary to stir slowly the product for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
Shelf life is 6 months.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
