Color Tape HM BIANCO P74

Description

COLOR TAPE HM BIANCO P74 is a very efficient white pigment masterbatch which is aimed at colouring adhesive masses, either solvent or hot-melt based. No solvent is involved. It is a free flowing product and is suitable for a continuous adhesive production process.

The addition of COLOR TAPE HM BIANCO P74 to the adhesive does not practically modify the adhesive properties, including its ageing, and is not cause of corrosion to the metal parts of production plants.

Aspect: dust free flakes
Type of pigments: inorganic (metal oxides)
Pigment content: 70% minimum
Other ingredients: dispersing agents, antioxidants, thermoplastic resins as binder

Application

Handling

In general, we suggest to use 6-8% on the dry content of the adhesive (approx 50-60% of usual pigment pastes).
When used in solvent adhesives, COLOR TAPE HM BIANCO P74 can be introduced directly into the mixer, during any phase of the adhesive preparation, either manually or pneumatically. In the latter case, caution suggests to use inert gases (like nitrogen or carbon dioxide) to avoid explosion hazard for metaloxides friction.
In case of need of a continuous COLOR TAPE HM BIANCO P74 add-on into a continuous screw extruder, you can disperse them in a mixer with solvent to 60-70% TS. By alternating the use of two containers, you can have a continuous feeding of the paste.

Packaging

The product is supplied in sacco carta 20 kg (20 kg).
