RELEASE W40 GB3 is a waterborne release agent, based on acrylic polymers and special releasing agents.
RELEASE W40 GB3 is a release agent for porous substrates, such as Kraft paper for masking tapes. It grants excellent release and unwinding properties. RELEASE W 40 GB3 is suggested for hot-melt and solvent based pressure sensitive adhesives.

The quantity to apply depends on the substrate porosity, normally ranging from 1 to 3 g/sqm (dry). Coating methods: Mayer bar, Reverse Roll, Rotogravure, Air knife.
It can be either thickened (with acrylic thickeners) or diluted (with water).
In order to achieve the highest release properties by means of an underlying self-curing process, we recommend to heat the product for a few seconds at 150°C in the drying phase.
Ageing properties are excellent.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Keep material at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, avoid direct sunlight/freezing.
It is necessary to stir slowly the product for 10-15 minutes before use.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
