TACKWHITE AP 5 M is a water-based acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.
Due to its composition, it achieves very good ageing properties, including light stability.
TACKWHITE AP 5 M has been designed for the production of protective PE films.
We recommend to crosslink the product with polyurea (e.g. Curing Agent WS 5, 1.5-2%), polyaziridine (e.g. Curing Agent X 7, 0.2-1%) or isocyanate (e.g. Curing Agent W3 Dil., 0.5-1%). The choice and the quantity of crosslinker depend on the final behaviour of the adhesive desired. We suggest to run preliminary lab trials to find the suitable amount of crosslinker.
TACKWHITE AP 5 M can also be used for the production of PSA protective films with low peel adhesion and perfect removability and for removable labels.
The viscosity of the product makes it suitable for Mayer bar, gravure or air knife coating.

TACKWHITE AP 5 M is ready for application by Mayer bar, reverse roll or air knife coating systems; higher viscosity versions can be supplied on request for rotating blade or direct knife coating systems.
If necessary, it can be diluted with water.
If a crosslinker is added to TACKWHITE AP 5 M, it is necessary to stir the product until completely homogeneous. If a polyaziridine is used, check pH and, if necessary, add ammonia until pH=8-9. After crosslinker addition, pot-life decreases.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
TACKWHITE AP 5 M must be stored at temperature between +5°C and +40°C.
Keep containers well sealed, in order to avoid surface skin formation.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
