Description
ADDITIVE ST 2 is a toluene/xylene solution of special polymers, to be added to our COLOR INKS PP PAMC or to other polyamidic inks, before printing PP acrylic tapes or special easy-printable hot-melt and solvent based PSA tapes.

Handling
ADDITIVE ST 2, when perfectly liquid and homogeneous, must be added to COLOR INKS PP PAMC in the following quantities:
50 w/w of COLOR INK PP PAMC
50 w/w of ADDITIVE ST2
If used with different polyamidic inks, the amount of ADDITIVE ST2 goes from 25 to 50%, depending on pigments concentration.
It can be used also with COLOR INKS PP PAM + ADD to increase the protection of the printed area from the adhesive in case of ink transfer. In this case add 5-10-15% of ADDITIVE ST2 to the ink.
ADDITIVE ST2 must be completely liquid and homogeneous prior to be added into the ink. In case of partial or total solidification, store the product in a heated place (25-35°C) and stir it for 2-3 minutes before use. The product will return fluid. In case it is opaque or cloudy, you can revert it to transparency by warming it at 25-35°C, while gently stirring.
Packaging
The product is supplied in iron drums (50 kg).
Storing
ADDITIVE ST 2 must be stored at a temperature above 18°C to prevent freezing/jellying. It is sufficient to heat and stir the product to restore the original conditions.
Use within 12 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
Notes
ADDITIVE ST2 contains xylene/toluene. Avoid inhalation, skin contact and flames presence.
