Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. We care about the protection of your personal data and want you to feel safe when visiting our website.

We hereby provide information on what data is collected by Ichemco when you visit our site and how it is used.

Data collection

When you visit the Ichemco website, general data is collected automatically (i.e. not through manual registration), which is not treated as personal data.
By default, our web servers store the following data for 5 years:

• IP address
• Pages visited
• Identification string of your browser

This information is recorded and analysed in aggregate anonymous statistical form. It is used solely for the purpose of improving the usability, content and functionality of our website, and is deleted regularly.

Moreover, for the same purposes, some pages of our site are linked to sites of Google's Analytics service, where groupings are made by Internet Service Provider, browser type, geographical location, and similar macro-areas.

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data (name, role, telephone number, email address) are only collected when you provide us directly and of your own volition, e.g. when registering, filling in forms, sending e-mails, through business cards, or when ordering products or services, requesting information or material. The database and your information remain within our company. Your personal data will not be made available in any form to third parties by us, or by persons designated by us, except for the fulfilment of legal obligations. No sensitive data is collected.

Use of data

Our activity is exclusively business-to-business. We do not conduct campaigns by telephone or other means, nor do we send newsletters. The data is only used for communications strictly inherent to our business relationship with you. From time to time we send out circulars regarding closing periods, price changes, innovations in our product line, and extraordinary events that may impact our business. We have no relationship with marketing companies, and we consider the data you provide us with to be strictly confidential. Access to this data is restricted to Ichemco staff and is password protected.

Right to obtain information

You have the right to check and correct any data about yourself that we have stored if you think it is no longer valid or correct. In this case, simply send an e-mail to the e-mail address given on the home page of the site.

Stored data (data retention)

We store personal data for 10 years, renewable if exchanges take place during this period, if your consent is given in the meantime. They can be deleted on request unless otherwise prescribed by law, such as for the fulfilment of tax obligations or in the case of pending legal cases.

Cookies

We use technical cookies in limited parts of our website, for the purpose of maintaining session status or language preference displayed, without any statistical or advertising profiling purposes. We reserve the right to make appropriate changes at any time.
