RD-3000 and RD-1000 Rolldown Machines

The ChemInstruments RD-3000 and RD-1000 Rolldown machines insure that test samples are prepared with a constant pressure and laminating speed. The RD-3000 reduces sample preparation by accommodating three panels at one time. The RD-1000 is designed to prepare one panel at a time.

Both machines meet the following requirements of PSTC Appendage B, Section 2.7 and ASTM D 3330 Section 5.4:

Standard laminating speed of 12 inches per minute (30 cm/min).
Harmonized Standard speed of 24 ipm (61 cm/min) - see the test method PSTC 101 / AFERA 5001 / ASTM D 3330/D 3330M EN 1939 – 2003.
4.5 lb. (2 kg) Shore scale A 80 durometer rubber covered roller.
Roller is 1.75" (4.5 cm) wide and 3.75" (9.5cm) in diameter.

The RD-3000 and RD-1000 have several built-in features which permit quick adjustments for custom test requirements:

Accepts test panels up to 2" x 8" (5x20 cm).
Adjustable stroke length.
Capable of programming up to 9 repeat cycles.
Displays cycle that is currently running.
Displays "F" when the cycles are finished.
Safe design.
