Description
TACKMELT R 002 is a hot-melt adhesive, based on SIS synthetic rubber and synthetic resins.
It contains special antioxidants to guarantee a good ageing resistance.
Application
The product is characterized by very low peel adhesion values and it is suggested for the production of removable labels.
Due to its fair light resistance, the product must be applied on opaque films or paper.

Handling
TACKMELT R 002 must be heated at 170-180°C with a suitable heating equipment and kept at a set stable temperature during all the use time (temperature changes cause a variation of the viscosity and, consequently of the processing condition).
The best coating system is slot-die coating.
The product has been designed to resist to high temperature, but it is preferable to avoid thermal shocks.
Packing
TACKMELT R 002 is supplied in 4 kg blocks packed in carton boxes of 16 Kg or in drums.
