Description
TACKMELT 016 M is a hot-melt adhesive, based on SIS synthetic rubber and synthetic rubber.
It contains special antioxidants to guarantee a good ageing resistance.
TACKMELT 016 M has very high tack and adhesion, along with good cohesion.
Application
The product can be used for the production of labels, double-sided tapes, and other similar applications.

Handling
TACKMELT 016 M must be heated up to 150-170°C with a suitable heating tool and kept at a set stable temperature during all the usage time (temperature variations cause a modification of the viscosity and, consequently, of the processing condition).
The best coating system is slot-die coating; the product is also suitable for spray systems.
The product has been designed to resist to high temperature, but it is preferable to avoid thermal shocks.
Packing
TACKMELT 016 M is supplied in 4 kg blocks, packed in carton boxes of 16 kg, or in drums.
Storing
Keep the product at temperatures between +5 and +35°C. Avoid contact with dust, liquids, ...
Shelf life is 1 year.
