Handling
TACKMELT A 40 must be heated at 160-180°C with a suitable heating tool and kept at a set stable temperature during all the usage time (temperature changes cause a variation of the viscosity and, consequently, of the processing condition).
The best coating system is slot-die coating.
The product has been designed to resist to high temperature, but it is preferable to avoid thermal shocks.
Packing
TACKMELT A 40 is supplied in 4 kg blocks packed in carton boxes of 12 Kg or in drums.
Storing
Keep the product at temperatures between +5 and +35°C. Avoid contact with dust and liquids.
Shelf life is 1 year.
Notes
Viscosity at high temperatures (indicative values) :
8,000 mPa.s at 160°C
5,000 mPa.s at 170°C.
