Description
CURING AGENT WS 5 is a crosslinking agent (water dispersion of modified ethylenurea), developed to improve cohesion of water-based adhesives.
Application
When CURING AGENT WS 5 is added to aqueous binders (acrylic or SBR latex), a heat treatment after drying drastically improves cohesion and moisture resistance of film.

Handling
CURING AGENT WS 5 (suggested quantity: 1 - 4%) can be added directly to the dispersion; then it is necessary to dry off all water and heat treat to a heat treatment to obtain a good crosslinking. Best curing conditions: 80 °C for 3 minutes.
Pot-life of compound is 24-36 hours.
Packing
20 kg plastic pail.
Storing
CURING AGENT WS 5 must be stored at temperature between 10 and 40°C.
Freezing temperature is around -3°C and where frozen, it cannot be restored to previus conditions.
The dispersion is stable for 4 months.
