Description

Release FR 100 is a compound based on release agent, vegetal oils and polyamidic resin in a 100% solid form.

Application

Release FR 100, once diluted into the proper solvents blend, is designed for the production of PS adhesive tapes or films, which are supposed to be used in the refrigerator assemblage, to fix and protect the coils.

Handling

Release FR 100 has to be diluted at 5% in a blend of toluene - isopropyl alcohol as it follows:
85% toluene
10% IPA
5% Release FR 100.
Warm up to 40°C the blend of solvents with an undirect heating system (caution: highly flammable solvents) and add the Release FR100 slowly while stirring, till complete dissolution.

The solution of Release FR 100 can be applied on treated PE film by Mayer-bar, rotogravure or any other low viscosity coating system. The suggested coating weight is 1.5 -2.0 g dry /sqm. Temperature of product, before and during application, should never be below 35-40°C.

Packing

5-10 Kg bags or 50 Kg fiber drums.

Storing

If stored into the original unopened packing, at temperatures below 35°C, shelf-life is 12 months.

Release FR 100 solution gels at low temperatures and must be kept at 20°C or above.
In case of freezing, good heating (50-60°C) and stirring will be necessary. Stirring must also be made every time before taking out partial quantities from containers. Shelf-life of the solution is 6 months.
