Description
RELEASE W 20 WA is a water-based release agent based on acryilic polymers added with special release agents.
Application
RELEASE W 20 WA is suggested for solvent based adhesives, hot-melt adhesives and it is particularly suitable for water based adhesives (both water based and SBR).
It can be applied on porous substrates, like Kraft paper, and it gives very good release and unwinding properties.

Handling
Quantity to apply: depends on substrate porosity, usually more than 3 g dry/sqm.
Methods: Mayer bar, Reverse Roll, Roto gravure, Air knife.
It is advised to heat the product for a few seconds at 150°C in order to achieve the highest properties of releasing (there is a processof self-curing).
Ageing properties are excellent.
Packing
RELEASE W 20 WA is supplied in 200 l plastic drums or 1000 l tanks.
Storing
Keep the material at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, avoid direct sunlight/freezing.
When stored for over one month, it is necessary to stir slowly the product for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
Shelf life is 3 months.
