Description
PRIMER EPA-SOL 10 is a solvent based primer designed for coating on corona-treated polypropylene film, before the application of the adhesive, in order to produce pressure sensitive tapes.
Application
PRIMER EPA-SOL 10 may be applied as well on treated polyethylene, on polyester and R.PVC or P-PVC (however we have specific primer for these films).

Handling
Coat with approx. 3 - 5 g/sqm by reverse roll or Meyer-bar.
Ratio between PRIMER EPA-SOL and isocyanate:
100 : 1.5 (CURING AGENT RF-AE, Ichemco).
Pot-life (after addition of CURING AGENT) is 24 h.
Packing
200 litre metal drums for EPA-SOL 10 and 50 kg paper board drums for EPA SOL DRY.
Storing
Product must be stored in a dry place.
Shelf life is 6 months.
Notes
Much care must be used to prevent fire risks and toxicity related to the presence of exane and toluene.
In order to minimise these inconveniences, we can ship the complete blend without solvents (100% of active matter), which can be easily dissolved in a mixer by the addition of toluene/exane (= EPA SOL DRY).
