Description
RELEASE W 20 BV is a water emulsion of special acrylic polymers, modified with special releasing additives. This version is designed to produce a high performing release coat.
Application
RELEASE W 20 BV can be applied on all porous substrates (i.e. Kraft paper for masking tape) as release agent in contact with hot-melt and solvent based adhesives.

Handling
Product can be applied by Mayer-bar, knife-coating, reverse-roll, etc., eventually adjusting the quantity applied, either by simple dilution with water or thickening with polyacrylic thickeners.
Quantity to be applied depends on type of substrates and vary from 1 to 3 g dry/sqm. In general, 1,5 g dry/sqm is considered optimal.
After drying, product must cure, by self-curing mechanism, for about 30 seconds at 150°C.
Packing
RELEASE W 20 BV is supplied in 200 l plastic drums or 1000 l tanks.
Storing
Keep material preferably at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, despite a very good freeze stability.
When stored for over one month it is necessary to stir product for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
Shelf life is 3 months.
