| Curing Agent D |
Description
CURING AGENT D is a diisocyanate in solution, designed to cross-link polyols (polyethers and polyesters), polyurethanes and elastomers ( natural rubber, chloroprene, etc.).
Application
It cross-links polymers/elastomers used as coatings, adhesives, primers, paints, etc, increasing strength, cohesion, adhesion to substrates and chemical/physical resistance.
Solvent: toluene.

Handling
CURING AGENT D is added to polymer/solution and properly stirred till homogeneous.
Reaction starts immediately but, being sufficiently slow, allows a pot-life of approx. 24 hours at room temperature.
We suggest to check in advance curing conditions, in order to avoid to spoil material. When introduced into solvent based primers for adhesive tapes, add 1,5 to a 10% primer solution. When added to a 20% polyurethane or chloroprene solution, approx. 5% must be added.
